We’ve been getting a lot of questions about proof of age for the gigs; which is understandable, since for a lot of people around ages 14 or 15, this might be the first time you’ve had to prove your age at an event. So here’s a few useful points that will hopefully cover most of the questions:
•Legitimate proof of age consists of an official photographic document that displays your date of birth. Common examples are passports, driver’s licences or student ID.
•Things like birth certificates and travel passes aren’t usually accepted as these can easily be faked or registered under a different date of birth.
•This is also the reason why photocopies aren’t ideal. Some places do accept photocopies of passports, but venues in London tend to be a lot stricter and we can’t guarantee our venues will be an exception. You can feel free to bring a photocopy instead, but at your own risk; don’t feel too disappointed if you get turned away.
However, guys, people will probably only be ID’d if they look significantly younger than 14. So don’t lie awake at night in a cold sweat about this. Okay? =)
